Additional Modules
Below is a list of some of the additional configurable Resourca functions:
Active Import
The Active Import module is a powerful hot folder system for automating the uploading of assets into Resourca. Active Import creates a folder within your existing network where files (of any file type) can be deposited for automated uploading into Resourca. This module makes the process of populating your digital asset management system completely effortless and allows any employee (with access to the network) to make additions to your system.
Asset Usage Logging
The Asset Usage Logging module requires that users must save a reference note stating for what purpose they are downloading an asset from Resourca. This is extremely useful for system administrators and asset owners, as it keeps a record of why people are accessing assets and ensures that these assets are being used correctly.
Order Processing
The Order Processing module makes it necessary for users to order an asset before being able to download it. This keeps control of assets in the hands of administrators but does not restrict users. A user will leave an order for an asset and will not be able to download it until the requests is approved.
Document Content Searching
The Document Content Searching module reads document text on uploading and automatically records the text as meta data. This means that a document will be searchable on any word held within it and adds a new dimension to the way Resourca supports text documents.
e-Commerce
You're probably already saving money from using Resourca, why not make some too!
The e-Commerce module adds a shopping basket facility to Resourca and enables users to purchase assets via a secure world pay account.
Check In - Check Out
The Check In - Check Out module allows a user to download an asset and restrict any other subsequent user from donwloading that asset until it has been resubmitted - much like taking a book out from the library!
This is useful if you want to keep control over a specific asset and knowledge of who has it at a particular point in time. It is also useful for when an asset is being edited and access needs to be restricted until changes are made.
